Президентом американского Совета модных дизайнеров впервые стала темнокожая женщина

Совет модельеров Америки (CFDA) объявил имя нового президента — им стала Касcандра Диггс, первая темнокожая женщина на этой должности с момента основания организации в 1962 году. С 2001 года она работала в CFDA на постах главного административного директора и финансового директора.

«Кассандра является инновационным мыслителем с глубоким пониманием организационных и деловых операций», — отозвался о ней Стивен Колб, генеральный директор организации. — Она именно тот человек, у которого есть правильные идеи, в которых нуждается CFDA, чтобы развиваться и в будущем».

The CFDA is pleased to announce the promotion of CaSandra Diggs to President of the organization.⠀ ⠀ Diggs joined the CFDA in 2001 and most recently was Chief Administrative and Financial Officer.
